Project settings#

Open Settings → Tools → Obfuscation Pro. Check the detected obfuscator and rule file, and configure output paths for the build variant you want to inspect. R8 compatibility and full-mode behavior differ; retain the project’s intended tool mode.

Keep-rule target#

Select the ProGuard/R8 rule file before applying fixes that append rules. For yGuard and Allatori, use their corresponding configuration and syntax. Do not mix rule languages simply because both tools rename classes.

Mapping and coverage inputs#

The plugin detects common Android outputs under build/outputs/mapping/<variant>/. For other builds, choose mapping.txt, seeds.txt, and usage.txt, or the tool’s XML mapping. Match all inputs to the same build and module.

Inspections#

Configure checks under Editor → Inspections. Template and quick-fix support covers common entry points, reflection, serialization, Android components, framework usage, and plugin descriptors. Review the suggested rule before applying it.
