Configuration

Settings, tools, and project configuration for Astro Pro.

On this page

Language support#

Open Settings → Tools → Astro Pro. Install and enable LSP4IJ for the official Astro language-server workflow. Inspect its console when startup fails. Keep Astro and the language-server dependencies compatible with the project’s installed version.

Project configuration#

Open the repository containing astro.config.*, package.json, and tsconfig.json. The plugin resolves component imports, package subpath exports, and TypeScript path aliases from those files. Use config completion to discover supported properties for your Astro version.

Editor settings#

Use Editor → Color Scheme for Astro highlighting and Editor → Inspections for Astro checks. Frontmatter, template, script, and style regions use the corresponding injected language support.

Running and deployment#

Inspect Astro CLI run configurations under Run → Edit Configurations. Select the right project and script before starting a development or preview server. Deploy actions for Cloudflare, Vercel, and Netlify need the relevant project configuration and account/CLI setup.
