Vue Router and Pinia

Navigate named routes and inspect store usage.

On this page

In a project using Vue Router, type a named route in a RouterLink binding and invoke completion. Navigate from the name to its route declaration. Unknown names and missing required parameters are reported as inspections.

Use Go to Symbol to find component names and named routes. If a route is assembled dynamically, confirm it against runtime configuration rather than assuming a static warning proves it is missing.

Work with stores#

Open a Pinia store defined with defineStore(). Complete state, getters, and actions from a store instance and navigate to the member declaration. Setup stores, destructured aliases, and storeToRefs() receive focused analysis.

Version 2026.2.3 supports Pinia 4, including object-form stores with an id, and diagnoses invalid storeToRefs() destructuring. Store actions are callable functions; they are not state refs supplied by storeToRefs().

Change a store member#

Use Find Usages or Rename on the actual member declaration. Review templates, scripts, aliases, and store consumers in the preview. Run the application’s type-check and store tests afterward, especially if dynamically computed properties are involved.
