What Mojo Pro provides, its requirements, and where to start.

On this page

Mojo Pro provides native Mojo parsing, navigation, refactoring, inspections, SDK discovery, formatting, run configurations, LLDB DAP debugging, and a REPL.

Requirements#

IDE compatibility: IntelliJ IDEA 2026.1+. Check the Marketplace list for other editions and their supported versions.

The documented release is 2026.1.12. Its Marketplace compatibility starts at IntelliJ Platform build 261.0. Check the Marketplace compatibility list for your IDE edition and version before installing.

The documented release targets stable Mojo 1.1.0 and retains SDKs from 1.0.0b1 for existing projects. Older 0.x and 1.0.0b0 SDKs are unsupported. Use a Pixi SDK for file debugging. uv/Python-wheel installations support editing and running, but do not provide supported file debugging.

Start here#

Install Mojo Pro, then follow SDKs, running, and debugging. The configuration reference explains where to adjust the behavior for your project.

Current limitations#

Mojo installed as a Python wheel does not support file debugging. LSP availability varies with the SDK and host IDE; local syntax and PSI features remain available where platform LSP APIs do not. Legacy fn syntax is not treated as portable current Mojo.
