Configuration

Settings, tools, and project configuration for Solidity Pro.

On this page

Solidity settings#

Search Settings for Solidity and configure the compiler and any external analysis tools you intend to run. Match compiler selection to the project’s pragma and framework configuration. Installing the plugin does not install every external tool.

Inspections#

The Solidity inspection group includes correctness, security audit, gas optimization, naming/source compliance, ERC checks, and version-migration checks. Tune severities for your project and review proposed fixes against the intended compiler version.

Frameworks and imports#

Keep Foundry or Hardhat configuration and installed dependencies available. Project-aware import resolution and optimization preserve dependencies even when common library roots such as node_modules are excluded from IDE indexing.

Debugging and explorer operations#

Configure a compatible DAP adapter and launch context before debugging. Etherscan import, flatten, and verification actions need the relevant network, contract, and credentials/settings. Review the target chain and compiler arguments before verification.
