Configuration

Settings, tools, and project configuration for TanStack Pro.

On this page

Settings and detected apps#

Search Settings for TanStack Pro. Project detection uses content roots, nested package.json files, package workspaces, pnpm-workspace.yaml, route folders, generated route trees, and framework configuration.

Tool window#

Open View → Tool Windows → TanStack. The Project panel summarizes apps and package managers; Route Tree and Route Health explain file routing; Query Keys and Query Graph show query usage; Server lists server functions and routes.

Run scripts#

Use Run → Edit Configurations to select the intended app, package manager, script, arguments, environment variables, and optional environment file. Enable route generation before run only when the project needs it. Browser opening waits for server-ready output when enabled.

New projects#

Choose New Project → TanStack and inspect the complete CLI command. Manual changes remain until Reset CLI command. Example and add-on discovery invokes the CLI only when you request its metadata.
