Overview

What TanStack Pro provides, its requirements, and where to start.

On this page

TanStack Pro helps you understand Router, Start, and Query applications. It detects apps across workspaces, presents routes and query keys, checks route-tree health, indexes server functions, and runs project scripts.

Requirements#

IDE compatibility: WebStorm 2025.2+. Check the Marketplace list for other editions and their supported versions.

The documented release is 2026.1.4. Its Marketplace compatibility starts at IntelliJ Platform build 252.0. Check the Marketplace compatibility list for your IDE edition and version before installing.

Use a JavaScript or TypeScript project with its TanStack packages installed. Node.js and the project’s package manager are needed for the CLI and run configurations. Supported package-manager workflows include npm, pnpm, Yarn, and Bun.

Start here#

Current limitations#

Detection and inspections are based on recognizable project structure and code. They do not replace the router generator, TypeScript checks, or application tests. In monorepos, select the intended app before generating routes or running a package script.

These instructions target the published 2026.1.4 release. Check the version under Settings → Plugins → Installed if your IDE behaves differently. For setup failures, start with troubleshooting.
