Marko Run#
Open Settings → Languages & Frameworks → Marko Run to set the route root and local base URL. Match the URL to the running development server so browser gutter actions open the intended application.
Component discovery#
Keep marko.json, package.json, local tag directories, and dependencies in the project. marko.json provides configuration completion and validation. Component resolution includes relative tags and installed packages, including nested custom tag directories.
Preview#
Choose Editor, Preview, or Split in a Marko editor. Supply JSON input when previewing a component that expects props. Select a responsive viewport to check layout. The preview uses project tooling; install dependencies before investigating renderer failures.
Editing#
Use the IDE’s Color Scheme, Inspections, and Code Style settings for source appearance and analysis. Refactorings should be invoked through the IDE so component references can be updated across files.
