A custom tag is unresolved#

Check spelling, local tag paths, installed packages, and marko.json. In nested components, verify the custom tags-dir or components-dir configuration. Allow indexing to complete after dependency changes.

Preview fails#

Run the project with its normal package script and fix dependency or compilation errors. Confirm that the IDE uses its JCEF-enabled runtime and that preview inputs are valid JSON.

A browser route opens the wrong URL#

Check the Marko Run base URL and route root against the active development server. A +page.marko gutter link needs that server to be running.

Report an issue#

Use email support and include:

• Your IDE edition and full build number from Help → About.
• The installed plugin version; this manual covers 2026.1.3.
• Relevant external-tool versions, the failing action, and a small reproducible example.
• The error message and relevant log excerpt, with credentials and private project data removed.

Use Help → Show Log in Finder/Explorer to locate IDE logs when requested. Describe what you expected to happen and whether the same operation works from a terminal.
