Configuration

Settings, tools, and project configuration for Nuxt Pro.

On this page

Workspace detection#

Open the repository containing package.json, nuxt.config.*, lockfiles, and app/server directories. The Nuxt Pro tool window reports the detected Nuxt version, package manager, scripts, indexed files, and Vetur status.

Configuration files#

Use completion in .nuxtrc and .nuxtignore, and config intelligence in supported Nuxt configuration contexts. Keep dependency versions and lockfiles consistent so Nuxt Doctor can identify installed versions correctly.

Run configurations#

The project wizard creates normal configurations for scripts such as dev, build, generate, and preview. Inspect their working directory, package manager, and environment before use. Use the existing project’s scripts rather than replacing a custom setup with generic commands.

Vetur#

The tool window can create a recommended .vetur/config.json when your team still uses Vetur configuration. Review an existing configuration before replacing or extending it. This setting does not select which plugin owns .vue files.
