Accounts and resources

Connect an account and work with Workers, databases, and storage.

Connect and inspect#

Open View → Tool Windows → Toolkit for Cloudflare and add an account using an API token or OAuth. Select the account and expand a resource type. Confirm the resource identity before performing any write.

For Workers, inspect deployed code, versions, and deployment context. For Pages, review projects, builds, and deployment history. These panels help distinguish what is deployed from what is currently in your editor.

Work with data#

Open a D1 database to inspect schema or use its SQL console. Begin with a read query such as SELECT name FROM sqlite_master WHERE type = 'table'. Review the database and account before running statements that modify data.

Use KV browsing and search to inspect keys and values. R2 provides a file browser with upload, download, preview, and drag-and-drop. Queue panels show consumers and settings and can send messages; use test resources when experimenting with writes.

Deploy deliberately#

Select the intended Worker or Pages project and review its deployment settings and project configuration. A deployment changes the remote application. After deployment, verify the new version and inspect logs rather than assuming a successful upload proves the app works.

Account-specific tabs retain their original account binding. Open a fresh panel when switching to another account’s similarly named resource.
