Observability and platform tools
Investigate traces, Workflows, Containers, and account services.
Investigate a Worker#
Open its telemetry or log panel, select a useful time range, and inspect a request’s details. Log entries with a trace ID can lead to trace investigation. In the Worker’s Traces tab, inspect span timing, attributes, and correlated logs, then open matching local source where available.
Copy a diagnostic only after reviewing it for application data. A failed refresh can leave useful earlier details visible; check the error state before treating those details as a fresh response.
Inspect Workflows and Containers#
For a Workflow, inspect instance timelines, triggers, events, and lifecycle state. Confirm an instance before invoking a lifecycle operation. For Containers, inspect the selected application’s scheduling policy, image, health, details, and associated Durable Objects.
Explore account services#
Use the GraphQL Explorer for analytics queries and the billing dashboard for account usage, subscriptions, and historical periods. AI panels expose supported Workers AI, Gateway, and Search operations according to account access.
MCP connections can expose interactive API tools. Inspect a tool’s description and arguments before execution, particularly for operations that write data. Cloudflare Status reports platform incidents and maintenance; correlate these with your Worker traces to distinguish service-wide incidents from application failures.
