Configuration

Settings, tools, and project configuration for Scribe Pro.

On this page

Typst settings#

Open Settings → Tools → Typst. The settings retain the Typst name even though the Marketplace product is Scribe Pro. Child pages include Language Server, Compilation, Completion, and Preview.

Language server#

Allow the managed Tinymist download or choose a local executable under Language Server. Check server startup after changing the path. Workspace and root settings affect access to included files and assets.

Main file and preview#

For a multi-file document, pin the intended main file rather than compiling an included chapter independently. Configure scroll synchronization and preview behavior on the Preview page, and compilation/export behavior on Compilation.

Colors and writing tools#

Use Editor → Color Scheme → Typst for markup, code, and math colors. Configure prose checks through the IDE’s spelling and natural-language settings. Formatting uses your selected supported formatter, such as typstyle or typstfmt.
